It’s Okay Not to Know
Yup, that's right, it's completely fine not to know. Not to know who you are, who you're with, what you feel, where you're going. As a matter of fact, it’s perfectly okay not to know what you want, when you want it, or who you want it with. Life would be too simple if all it took was knowing these things easily, imagine a love with no mystery, there would be no story, no romance, no glance to be shared or moment of 'what if'. it's easy to think that you're a strong person, that you have nothing to fear because you know exactly what it is you want and you know how to get it... but we all have those moments, the moments you wonder whether what you're doing is right, whether it's worth it. Moments that make you question the decisions you've made, the sheer thoughts that race through your mind. well... what do you do, what do you do when the very mind you need to make a decision with decides it's in a race with your heart, who can get to the conclusion you never asked for in the first place. Let your mind soar, let it dream its dream, live its fantasy, plant your feet on the ground and take off. let your mind consume you, tap into the things that only come out at 4am, better yet, find someone to tap into it for you. A guiding hand through a dark room. Sit in the room, enjoy the silence, the darkness, be patient. Wait till you can see the windows, outline the door... then open it all, let the light flood the room. Until that clarity happens, wait, be patient, find the beauty in not knowing, in truly and fully enjoying each moment till it passes. It’s okay to sit in the room, it’s okay to get comfortable in the dark... it's okay not to know.
